Pendleton Family Dental is one of the first organizations in the country to be equipped with dual digital crown impression and fabrication technologies. Families will experience a more comfortable, interactive and high-tech experience in digital crown impression processes. No more messy impression materials and unpleasant procedures. Crowns can be prepared and created within the same visit.
CAD/CAM digital crown technologies are one of latest advancements in crown scanning and fabrication technologies. In conjunction with the in-office lab milling machine, the system allows single Procelain crown, inlay, onlay, and veneers to be created immediately while the patient is waiting in the chair.
The IntraOral Digitizer is a high-speed laser scanner that takes multiple images of the tooth and warps them together to create a highly accurate 3D model. The scanner allows dentists to take digital scans which replace conventional impression methods.
After the digital scan, the design software creates a 3D model of the tooth from the various images. The dental professional then uses the software to create the restoration that will match the shape of the neighboring teeth and is electronically sent to the in-office lab miller for creation.
